Weymouth is a beautiful coastal resort in Dorest sitting at the mouth of the River Wey. It has a bustling harbour, a lovely sandy beach with colorful beach huts and plenty of entertainment for all the family. It is a quintessentially British seaside town with everything you would expect from retro fish and chip shops to donkey rides on the beach.
The centre of Weymouth is filled with cafe's, boutiques, craft shops and restaurants which is great when staying in a self catering holiday cottage. There is also a weekly market on Thursdays and a farmers market held on the second Sunday of each month.
