Tintagel cottage holidays Holiday rentals - country and coastal cottages to rent in Tintagel
Tintagel sits on the North coast of Cornwall and is famous for its association with the legend of King Arthur and his Knights. Forklore has it that Tintagel castle was the home of King Arthur - well worth a guided tour.
In summer, like many Cornish resorts, Tintagel comes to life and is a bustling hive of activity. There are plenty of cafes, bars and fantastic seafood restaurants which is perfect when you are staying in a self catering cottage - you can sample the best that Tintagel has to offer.
There are also many fabulous beaches including Bossiney and Trebar which are popular with surfers. Castle Beach is more family friendly and safe for swimming. Away from the beaches, there are many attractions and other villages to explore such as Delabole and Boscastle and the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac.
