Seahouses cottage holidays Holiday rentals - country and coastal cottages to rent in Seahouses
Seahouses is a village on the North Northumberland coast and is known as the Gateway to the Farne Islands. It is situated between Bamburgh and Alnwick. Once a fishing village in the 1800s, Seahouses still possesses the old charm and feel which is why it's a popular destination for tourists. Seahouses is the market town for the surrounding villages of Beadnell and Bamburgh and numerous smaller hamlets but also boasts more castles and fortified houses than any other county in England.
Seahouses offers the chance to see hundreds of seals and seabirds on the Farne Islands. There are many boat trips out to the islands which are not to be missed. If wildlife isn’t your thing, then you can enjoy fresh fish and chips and a pint at one of the local restaurant.
