Positano is a colourful seaside village surrounded by high cliffs on the idyllic Amalfi Coast. With it's pastel coloured houses, mix of lemon and leather scents, superb restaurants and cafes and wide range of boutiques, once in Positano, its hard to leave!
Its also hard to imagine how Positano ever came into existence when you look at the town from the sea - starting at the pebble beach, its as though the resort is built vertically up the face of the cliffs.
Before the road in and out of Poistano was built, the only access to the village was via steps carved out of the rock face which are still used today.

Our view on Positano
Difficult to get to but once in Positano its hard to leave. Pastel coloured cottages looking on to the Mediterranean, sophisticated dining, extensive shopping and the whole Amalfi Coast at your finger tips...
