Padstow cottage holidays Holiday rentals - country and coastal cottages to rent in Padstow
Padstow is a leading holiday resort and ancient fishing port on the North Coast of Cornwall sitting 14 kilometres North East of Newquay. Padstow can be accessed via the Camel Trail, which is a passageway of disused railway tracks that are favoured by cyclists and off road walkers. The Camel Trail extends for 27 km from Padstow to Bodmin through the town of Wadebridge.
Padstow is largely unspoilt and is an excellent example of a Cornish-fishing port surrounded by gorgeous sandy beaches. There is a pretty harbour where you can see the fishing boats return with their daily catch. You'll also find plenty of shops, grocers, gift shops and a homemade fudge shop. For the Foodies, Padstow is home to the famous "Seafood Restaurant" run by Rick Stein. There are also many old and friendly pubs serving pub grub and real ale.
