Sitting on the Western shore 20km north of Como, Ossuccio is a lovely, tranquil village unspoiled by tourism and looks on to the famous Comacina Island and the gorgeous resort of Bellagio across the lake.
As with most of the lakeside resorts, Ossuccio is full of history and culture. One of the attractions is the famous 16th century Villa del Balbiano which featured in the James Bond film - Casino Royale.
There are ample cafes, bars and restaurants plus several boutiques to explore in the back streets of Ossuccio plus the village of Leno is next door with further amenities.

Our view on Ossuccio
Ossuccio is a good place to use as a base for exploring the other lakeside villages around Lake Como. Excellent value, good stock of cafes, bars and restaurants and plenty to see and do for your lakes & mountains holiday.
