Los Gigantes is a beach town in the Santiago del Teide area on the south-west coast of Tenerife and just 30 minutes from the airport. Sitting at the bottom of the 500m cliffs (the "Giants") where the town gets it's name, Los Gigantes is a very pretty resort and has a reputation for being refined and exclusive.
The resort boasts a quaint marina with fishing boats and its from here you can book one of the dolphin boat trips. In town, there is the pedestrianised zone around the Plaza and a small commercial area with shops selling everything from food to designer clothes.
