Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the bustling capital city of Ibiza complete with a medieval old quarter and castle. Sitting on a beautiful stretch of the east coast of the island, Ibiza Town attracts tourists from all corners of the world throughout the year who come to soak up the vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

From dusk until dawn, Ibiza Town is buzzing with its many cafes, bars and restaurants and even during the day, the beach clubs along Playa d'en Bossa know how to throw a party with club music and cocktails! Pacha is probably the best known club in Ibiza Town and is very popular whilst the world famous Amnesia club, often frequented by celebrated DJs is only a 10 minute taxi ride away.

Ibiza Town beaches

There is no beach at Ibiza Town but don't panic, a 10 minute walk either side of the marina takes you to some of the best beaches on Ibiza. Playa d'en Bassa is the longest beach on the island and home to the Aguamar waterpark. There is an impressive array of watersports on offer plus beach clubs, cafes, bars and restaurants along the promenade - one of the reasons why renting a villa here is popular.

In the other direction, 15 minutes walk or a short ferry ride, is the beautiful white sandy beach at the small resort of Talamanca. Flanked with bars and seafood restaurants along the promenade, Talamanca beach is open all year round and popular with locals. Ibiza's other waterpark, Agualandia, is also here and unlike Aguamar, has more rides for the younger children.
