Holt is a pretty market town with it's own unique character. Located 37 km North of Norwich, 56 km East of King’s Lynn and 15 km West of Cromer. Holt has plenty of independant shops, boutiques, antique and book shops, art galleries. There are several places to eat along the high street or down charming courtyards and alleyways. The town is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Photographers, hikers, cyclists, tourists, families and artists are drawn to the town because there’s so much to see and do.
Holt has an annual summer arts festival in July that includes music, cinema, art and literature. In late November the town looks like a Christmas card with most shops decorated with twinkly fairy lights. The Holt Owl Trail is tour of Holt’s historic Georgian town centre and should take around 45 minutes to complete. Follow the 24 numbered pavement plaques around town to reveal some of Holt's hidden secrets.
