Deal is a small, pretty seaside town in White Cliffs County on the Kent coast sitting 8 miles north of Dover. It is often overlooked as a holiday destination giving way to the popular holiday hot spots of Whitstable and Margate. However, this makes it more atrractive if you are looking to get away from the crowds.

In the resort, there is a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained which is ideal when renting a self catering holiday cottage. Seafood is the speciality here with chilli squid and crab popular dishes. The local pebble beach beneath the coastal promenade looks out towards Goodwin Sands and is popuar with families as it's very clean and safe. There is also a pier, the last one in Kent, which is packed at night with people fishing.
