In the town, you will find a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants which is perfect when you are renting a holiday home. One thing that may come as a surprise is that just off the shore, you will find ‘Britain’s Great Barrier Reef’, the Cromer Shoal Chalk Bed, formed in the Mesozoic Era around 65 million years ago and visible when snorkelling.
