Conwy is a walled market town on the North Welsh coast and is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the UK. It boasts the impressive Conwy Castle with its 21 towers and three gateways that was built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287.
Conwy is an attractive stone built town that consists of a busy main street with several restaurants, pubs and some fantastic farm shops selling local produce. The marina and quay is a good place to hang out during the day and if you like sailing, there is the Conwy River Festival which is held during July.
